26-04-2011 - De NRHA zal in juni 2011 een aantal 'rule change proposals' bespreken, ofwel voorstellen. Alle NRHA leden kunnen op de NRHA site stemmen op deze voorstellen. Zo is er een voorstel dat je als non pro ruiter niet perse getrouwd hoeft te zijn om het paard van je partner te mogen showen. Een samenlevingscontract kan bijvoorbeeld genoeg zijn.

Ook staan er een aantal interessante voorstellen m.b.t doping op NRHA evenementen. De NRHA USA wil een doping regelement opnemen in het NRHA rulebook.

Een ander interessant voorstel:

The use of shoe polish, dye, spray paint and/or similar substance of any color on a horse, (i.e.: including but not limited to: barrel, flanks, belly, sides, shoulders) shall be considered as artificial coloring and will result in a no score of the horse except in Freestyle reining classes.

Susy Baeck heeft een voorstel ingediend m.b.t de Non Pro Conditions. Haar voorstel:

It’s import to include people in the sport. Not exclude. Outside the US there are more legal/lawful ways to spend your life together with somebody without marriage. It’s important for the growth of the sport that we try to get as much people involved without disadvantage the Non Pro.
